EILEEN FISHER Donates Five Percent of Sales to VisArts on March 24

March 09, 2016 News

Women’s clothing and accessories designer EILEEN FISHER is partnering with Saks Fifth Avenue to support the Visual Arts Center of Richmond and its A Space of Her Own (SOHO) program again this year.

On Thursday, March 24, five percent of sales of EILEEN FISHER merchandise sold at Saks’ Stony Point Fashion Park location will go to VisArts. The store is open to shoppers from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

That evening, preview the EILEEN FISHER spring 2016 collection at an exclusive fashion show hosted by an EILEEN FISHER tipster, who will share expert styling tips and the inside scoop on spring 2016 trends. Enjoy light refreshments, great music and the chance to win a $500 EILEEN FISHER wardrobe. The reception begins at 5 p.m. and the fashion show begins at 6 p.m. Both events take place on Saks’ second floor.

A Space of Her Own is a mentoring program that pairs a dozen sixth grade girls living in Richmond’s public housing projects with 12 women in the community. Together, the big-little pairs learn leadership and life skills while taking art classes that allow them to explore their creativity and discover new forms of self-expression. The program culminates in the girls’ bedroom makeovers, which incorporate all the art projects the group has made throughout the year.

Saks is located at 9214 Stony Point Parkway. Fashion show seating is limited but all are welcome. Call Saks at (804) 320-6960, ext. 5344 with questions about the event.
