ONLINE: Writing Family History
Make a keepsake collection of family memories that have shaped your family as you define it today. This class is a great fit for anyone looking for an avenue into memoir writing. On our first day, we will look at family traditions and examine major events in our family histories. On our second day, we will talk about the relationship dynamics and legacies that span from our ancestors to the present day. ?

About the Instructor
Samantha Steiner
Samantha Steiner is a writer and visual artist. A winner of Best Microfiction 2021, she has received fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation, the Saltonstall Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Brown University and an MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. She is currently a Ph.D. student in English at the University of Rochester.
