ONSITE: Cloisonné Enameling (Only offered a few times a year!)
Learn cloisonné enameling, an ancient technique with contemporary applications. You’ll explore basic enameling and learn how to create cloisons (French for “compartments”) that separate different colors and shapes in a finished cloisonné design. Each student will finish this class having completed one small piece.
- Previous metal jewelry experience is recommended. All materials are provided. Please note that this class does use lead-based enamels, but we will provide masks for students.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
