Weekly demonstrations will include sewing machine basics, fabric basics, simple seams, simple hems, zipper application, how to take body measurements, and how to follow a sewing pattern. The first classes will be demonstration-based and the final classes will focus on the student making their own beginner project.

Special Notes

  • Sewing machines are supplied, but you may bring your own if you prefer. The teacher will discuss where to purchase supplies during class. Students can expect to buy fabric and notions for a few personal projects.
