ONSITE: Stained Glass (Ages 9-11)

Embrace your love of color by learning to make stained glass. Learn to select and design stained glass patterns, then cut, grind, clean, foil and solder your stained glass creation using the Tiffany technique. Beginners complete a small window and students with previous experience learn more advanced techniques, completing more challenging projects of their choice.

About the Instructor

Letitia Diggs

Letitia Harris is a Fine Artist from Richmond, Virginia. She grew up attending Richmond Public Schools and started working for RPS soon after college. She received her BFA from Virginia State University in 2014 with a concentration in Illustration and Printmaking. Since then, she has been teaching Fine Arts for the Public School Systems for over 5 years. She currently teaches Middle School Art for Chesterfield County Public Schools. She learned the Art of Stained Glass from, Master Teacher, Mary McNeil while attending the Art After School Program at Visarts. She has been creating stained glass since 2003.
