Stained Glass (Ages 12-14)
Embrace your love of color by learning to make stained glass. You'll select and design stained glass patterns, then cut, grind, clean, foil and solder your creation using the copper foil technique and lead-free solder. Beginners will complete a simple suncatcher and more experienced students will explore more advanced designs. Students in the 9-11 age group may use precut pieces of glass depending on their strength to cut glass by themselves. We'll end class with our own pieces of stained glass art!
- This is an On-site course. Students must follow current CDC + VDH guidance outlined on our website: visarts.org
