Classes

Laser Craft: Create Custom Art, Prints + Decor

For this class, we will utilize the fabrication lab's laser cutter/etcher to create various art objects out of paper, acrylic and wood. Final products can range from intricate paper cutouts and light up acrylic etchings, to cutting out wood parts to make your own lamp shades and 3D structures. Students will leave with a working knowledge of the laser machine, as well as a comfort for various layout and design software that are used along the way, such as Adobe Illustrator.
