Classes

ONLINE: Writing + Photography

In this introductory class, we will take some basic principles of photography and apply them to our work as writers. We will take photos; do some writing; learn to crop and edit both our images and our words; talk about the similarities between the two art forms; and how our exploration of one can feed the other. Students will have the option to write fiction, nonfiction, or poetry and share their work aloud in a supportive environment.

Special Notes

  • Students will need a camera of some kind (can be a phone) and a software they can use to crop and edit photos (can be Photos, Google Photos, or a phone app. More information will be provided in a welcome email).

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
