ONSITE: Digital Collage with Procreate
In this class, you'll learn how to create stunning digital collages using Procreate, a powerful digital drawing and painting app for the iPad, Using a variety of techniques and tools, you'll explore the endless possibilities of digital collage, from layering and masking to texture and color manipulation. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, you'll discover new ways to bring your creativity to life in the digital realm. Join us for and exciting and innovative class that will push your artistic boundaries and take your digital art to the next level.
Special Notes
- Students are welcome to bring their own iPad to use during class, but iPads will also be provided if needed. Additionally, if students have any specific images or materials they would like to incorporate into their digital collages, they are welcome to bring them to class. However, all necessary materials will be provided for students to complete their projects. Basic familiarity with the iPad and the Procreate app is recommended.
This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
About the Instructor
Dashiell Kirk
Dashiell Kirk is a illustrator based in Richmond. His work ranges from Comics and graphic novels to playing card games and posters. He teaches cartooning, comic book illustration, and ink drawing at the Visual Arts Center, and has a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.
