ONSITE: Drawing Comics in Procreate
Unleash your inner comic book artist in our "Drawing Comics in Procreate" class. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, learn character design, storytelling, inking, coloring, and more on your iPad with Procreate. Embark on an exciting journey into the world of comic creation.
Special Notes
- Students are welcome to bring their own iPad to use during class, but iPads will also be provided if needed. This class is tailored for artists of all levels working digitally on their iPads. Be sure to have Procreate installed and updated. Feel free to bring reference materials, unleash your creativity, ask questions, and experiment with styles.
This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
About the Instructor
Dashiell Kirk
Dashiell Kirk is a illustrator based in Richmond. His work ranges from Comics and graphic novels to playing card games and posters. He teaches cartooning, comic book illustration, and ink drawing at the Visual Arts Center, and has a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.
