ONSITE: Introduction to Natural Dyeing
Intro to Natural Dying is a six week course that teaches the history, processes, and expansive modalities of Natural Dye. The objectives of the course are to learn and experiment with several different natural dye methods, complete independent creative projects using the methods demonstrated, and gain an understanding of natural dye as a potential disruptive act – one rooted in the stain as a positive point of departure or slippage.

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
