Classes

ONSITE: Introduction to Woodworking: Create a Spice Rack or Shelf

Learn and use most of the tools commonly found in a furniture making woodshop. Students will analyze a collection of objects in their lives and work to design a system to accommodate them. This class will provide an introduction to basic joinery and assembly, and students will be introduced to both manual and computer drafting. Common object collections may be kitchen related (spices) or music (cassette or other physical media), but students are encouraged to be creative in their interpretations.
