ONSITE: Stained Glass (C)
Learn the basics of glass cutting, foiling, soldering and framing in order to embellish your home with stained glass panels, decorative mirrors or handmade lampshades. By the end of the class, beginners will have learned the fundamentals and completed a panel. Returning students will be able to explore more advanced techniques.
Special Notes
- There is lead in the solder used, pregnant students should check with OBGYN before registering. Please wear closed toe shoes. All materials, including glass will be provided as part of the materials fee. Additional glass and materials can be purchased from VisArts if needed.

This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
About the Instructor
Nicole Velez
Nicole is a professional stained glass artist specializing in modern designs that are rooted in tradition. She fell in love with stained glass as a child when her father discovered a hidden window in her childhood home. She began her career in 2018 learning at VisArts and now works out of her studio in the Fan.
