About the Instructor

Cindy Shelton-Eide

Cindy Shelton-Eide is an artist and art educator living in Richmond, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Painting and Printmaking, and later with a Master of Art Education. After practicing under the great tutelage of ceramic artists at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, she finally realized that clay was her passion. She now teaches ceramics full-time at Goochland High School and part-time at the Visual Art Center of Richmond.
