ONSITE: Wheel Thrown Teapots

Learn to construct a wheel thrown teapot! This class will investigate a plethora of teapot forms, both historically and contemporary. Students will hone in their wheel throwing abilities, throwing parts to specification, and create a teapot of their own design.

Special Notes

  • Students need a background of potting in order to succeed in the class. They don't have to be experts, but being able to throw to specification is important. Recommended that students bring their own basic throwing tools and a set of calipers.
You will receive 25 pounds of clay; additional clay is available for purchase.

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
