Craft Sale Application

Play Day is Saturday, May 20 from 12 to 3 p.m. and our craft sale runs for the duration of the event. The craft sale is juried by VisArts’ Play Day Committee. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 21 to be considered, and we’ll let you know whether you’ve been accepted to participate in the sale by Tuesday, April 25. This year, we’re only accepting application online.

If you’re accepted to participate in the craft sale, keep in mind that set-up begins that day at 10 a.m. and must be complete by 11:45 a.m. Vendors should bring their own table (no longer than 8′ in length) and are responsible for their own sales. Breakdown happens between 3 and 4 p.m. No breakdown is allowed prior to 3 p.m.

To apply to participate in this year’s Play Day Craft Sale, simply complete this form and submit a $35 reservation fee. If you are not accepted, we will refund your reservation fee to the credit card on file. Please note that if you are accepted but need to withdraw from the event, for any reason, your reservation fee is not refundable.

Artists who are accepted to participate in the sale will be assigned space in Cabell Courtyard (outdoors) or Schaberg Commons (indoors). We ask for your preference on the application, but can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to accommodate you in your first choice location. In the event of rain, all artists will be moved indoors to the Dominion Room.

If you are a current member of VisArts’ Clay Guild, you do not need to complete this application. Please see Jeff Vick to reserve your space in the Clay Guild Sale, which will take place in Clay 1.
