ONSITE: Family Studio: Messy Fun: Large Collaborative Painting
Come and make art side by side as a family. Families will explore a new medium each week and create a beautiful project together. Don an apron and get ready to make big messy art! Families will make collaborative large paintings and drawings. While kids get to pick the subject matter, adults will help them map out their artwork. Then, kids can get to the messy part of filling in their groups creation with paint! Listen to music and let the sounds guide your brush!
Special Notes
- Each person must individually register. Registered children must be accompanied by a registered adult. This program is best suited for families with children aged 3 to 8, however, all family members are welcome. All materials and equipment are provided. Artmaking activities will involve some messiness; please wear appropriate clothing.
Families need to sign up before 4pm the day before class. Confirmations/cancellations will be made by 5pm on the day before. Please sign up as early as possible.
This is an ONSITE course. Students are expected to adhere to our COVID-19 policies. For more info please visit visarts.org.
Due to a set of stairs, this classroom is not wheelchair accessible.

Hi, I'm Tori! I love to paint and talk about art! In my work I try to reuse supplies and repurpose old fabrics to give them new life. My subject matter usually leans toward domestic scenes such as the home, and the incorporation of fibers help bring an expressive quality to my work. I love all mediums, but I use a lot of paper in my work in different collage forms.
