ONSITE: Letterpress Printed Stationery

Try out letterpress printing and create a set of beautiful notecards that you can send to family and friends! You'll learn how to set wood and metal type as well as how to operate a letterpress printing machine, including inking up, proofing, and adjusting paper position. We’ll play around with fun, wordy greeting card designs, and experiment with whatever images and ornaments we find in the type drawers. By the end of the class, each student will have a small print run of their own stationery.
