ONSITE: Stamped Metal Charms (Adults and Youth 9+ with Registered Adult)
Charm yourself, family, and friends with a personal touch. Design and stamp several charms with words, textures and symbols to express your creative voice in metal. In this workshop you will learn textural hammering and stamping techniques that will guide you in developing your creative style. Pre cut metal shapes and guides will be provided. We will drill holes and attach jump rings as desired.
- All materials are provided. Please wear comfortable clothes. We will be hammering a lot in this class, Foam earplugs are provided, but feel free to bring your own headset. If you have stamps or metal you would like to stamp, bring it along with you. If under age 18, you must also register with an adult.
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

About the Instructor
Jeannine's spirited creativity turned to metalsmithing in 2002. She has studied Metals at Virginia Commonwealth University, The Visual Arts Center, Arrowmont and Penland School of Crafts. She currently teaches metalsmithing at The Visual Arts Center, and to private clients. In her studio she is inspired by the beauty and strength of nature. In her classes she promotes caring for the earth by sharing ethical practices. Jeannine is featured at Fan Frame and Fine Art on Robinson and, 43rd St Gallery in Forest Hill.
