Textured Animal Portraits (Ages 6-8)
Get into some mess with textured animal portraits! Learn how to paint with super thick and goopy paint while researching their favorite animals from around the globe. Projects will be a mix of silly and scientific as we experiment with heavy-bodied paint on the canvas to mimic fur, feather, and scales. We are going to learn a lot about our painterly instincts and how we work alongside other painters.

Tori Qualls
Hi, I'm Tori! I love to paint and talk about art! In my work I try to reuse supplies and repurpose old fabrics to give them new life. My subject matter usually leans toward domestic scenes such as the home, and the incorporation of fibers help bring an expressive quality to my work. I love all mediums, but I use a lot of paper in my work in different collage forms.
